Paulina has always been passionate about helping others, particularly in shaping the lives of young people. Over the years, she has worked with youth in various capacities. Before joining La Europa, Paulina worked with young individuals in the criminal justice system. She quickly recognized the lack of mental health support within the system and sought out an organization focused on rehabilitation rather than confinement.
Paulina has been with La Europa Academy since 2018 and has held various roles, including student mentor, team supervisor, and Hiring and Training Coordinator. For the past few years, she has served as the Program Director, leading the residential team.
As Program Director, Paulina oversees the residential department and its staff. She ensures the wellbeing of all La Europa employees and upholds the school’s policies and procedures. Collaborating closely with a leadership team of five supervisors and the Residential Director, she works to maintain smooth daily operations. Paulina is deeply committed to the safety and quality care of each student, as well as the professional growth and success of her team. Her love and dedication to La Europa drives her to continue developing the residential program.
Paulina holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Criminology from the University of Utah. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new restaurants around town.
