Katelyn Steed

Katelyn grew up in a small town in Montana. In college she studied Recreation Management with an emphasis in Recreational Therapy. It was then that she knew she liked working with adolescents. Most of her experience has been working at hotels or in Residential Treatment Centers. When working at the hotel Katelyn moved from working in housekeeping to being the Front Desk Manager. Katelyn then began working at Residential Treatment Centers when she moved to Utah in 2015. Before starting at La Europa Katelyn was able to work at a wilderness therapy program in Utah. It was an amazing experience for Katelyn where her love for the outdoors really grew. Katelyn began working at La Europa Academy in 2018 as a mentor staff.  She was able to move into the role of a Shift Supervisor.  She also worked as our Admissions Coordinator before moving into her current role as the Human Resource Specialist.

When not working, Katelyn enjoys hiking and rock climbing in the nearby mountains with her friends.
