Heather comes to La Europa Academy with many years of accounting experience and excitement to be contributing to the resiliency of young women. She completed her BS degree in 2008 from Utah Valley University with scholarships she had earned through her educational attainments as well as her status as a single mom.
Her interest in the accounting field began when her grandfather passed along the accounting responsibilities for their family owned and operated business. Most of her career has been spent within the business function of healthcare with considerable skills and knowledge in both accounting and human resources.
Outside the work environment, her time is spent supporting her two children develop their interests in dance, singing, basketball and scouting. She also loves to read in her spare time. Currently on her nightstand, you'll find the books "Leadership and Self Deception" and "Tuesdays with Morie" along with a picture of her kids and the family Boxer.
Her life's focus is a continuous realignment with the belief that all things are controlled and governed by a loving presence, who knows the end from the beginning, and who provides the testing needed to fulfill our greatest potential.
